One employer, several companies

Requires Marketplace

Without Marketplace Suite, each employer account can own one company. With it, an employer can add and manage several. This suits recruitment agencies and groups that post jobs for more than one brand.

Multiple companies are on as soon as Marketplace Suite is active. There is no separate setting. Employers get two links in their dashboard:

  • Add Company opens a new company form.
  • My Companies lists every company they own.

The employer dashboard menu with Add Company and My Companies under Company Management

When an employer posts a job, they choose which of their companies it belongs to.

The limit depends on your submission type:

Submission type Limit
Free No limit
Per Listing No limit. Each new company costs Price per Company Submission, if you set one.
Membership The Number Of Companies in the employer’s packages. -1 means unlimited.

In Membership mode, an employer with no company allowance left is asked to buy a package before adding another company.

Marketplace Suite decides who can work on a company’s verification and promotions like this:

Person Can do
Site administrator Everything, for every company
Company owner (the employer account that created it) Submit verification, schedule promotions, approve or decline promotion requests
Company admin The same as the owner
Recruiter Ask for a promotion, which waits for the owner or a company admin to approve

Company admins and recruiters are team roles from Recruit Suite. Without Recruit Suite, a company’s owner and your site administrators are the only people who can act for it. See Team.

Packages are bought and held by the employer account that owns the company. Any uses a team member spends, such as a scheduled promotion, come from the owner’s packages.

On a site that also runs Recruit Suite, recruiters and hiring managers who do not own a company cannot open the billing pages: Packages, My Packages, My Subscriptions and Invoices. If they try, they are sent back to their dashboard. Billing stays with the account owner or company admin.
