Job Seekers

The Job Seekers tab sets how job seekers register, switches job shortlisting and Tell A Friend on or off, and chooses which sections and menu links the job seeker dashboard shows.

To open it, go to WP Job Portal → Configurations and select Job Seekers. For how the screen works, see System & Site.

Registration & Access

Settings related to job seeker accounts and registration.

Job Seeker Default Role	The WordPress role given to each new job seeker account.	Subscriber
Set Job Seeker After-Register Link	Where a new job seeker goes after registering: Default sends them to the page below, Custom to the link below.	Default
Job Seeker After-Registration Page	The page a new job seeker is sent to after registering.	None
Job Seeker Custom After-Registration Link	The URL a new job seeker is sent to when Set Job Seeker After-Register Link is Custom.	Empty
Enable Job Shortlisting	Lets job seekers shortlist jobs from the job detail page.	Off
Enable Tell A Friend	Adds Tell A Friend to job pages, so people can email a job to someone.	Off

Note

The after-registration redirect only happens when Job Seeker After-Registration Page is set to a published page, even when you use Custom. With no page selected, the custom link is ignored.

Dashboard Layout & Widgets

Control the visibility of main sections and widgets in the logged-in job seeker dashboard.

Dashboard Navigation Links

Control which navigation links are visible in the logged-in job seeker dashboard menu.
